THE COURSE
The course will enable delegates to design and deploy reports using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Reports will be designed using Business Intelligence Development Studio and the new Report Builder. Other topics covered include managing security, exporting reports and delivering reports to shared folders and by email. The course is aimed at people who are new to reporting services. Exercises are included to consolidate the skills taught.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
IT professionals who need to build and deploy reports for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005.
PRE-REQUISITES No previous knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services is required. A basic knowledge of database principles, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft SQL Server is required. This could be gained from our SQL Server Essentials course or through work experience.
