W2K33ADM Windows Server 2003 Administration OR W2K83ADM Windows Server 2008 Administration In addition, attendance of the following course or equivalent knowledge is highly advantageous as some knowledge from it is assumed during this course. W2K84ADS Active Directory Design and Implementation Knowledge of managing Windows desktop operating systems is assumed during this course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND Administrators who will be designing, implementing and managing Windows based networks and security systems using Windows Server 2008.
Delegates who are preparing for a Windows Server 2008 qualification.
THE COURSE The course will allow the delegate to perform the following tasks within their organisation.
Understand fundamental networking and TCP/IP concepts such as addressing, subnetting and the differences between IPv4 and IPv6.
Manage network services such as DHCP and DNS.
Implement Routing and Remote Access solutions using Windows Server 2008
Implement complex Windows Server 2008 security solutions using multi-factor authentication, IPSec and RADIUS.
ALTERNATIVE COURSES For delegates that have significant experience on Windows Server 2000 or 2003 and wish to enhance their skills with an understanding of Windows Server 2008. This course may also be beneficial for Windows 2003 administrators with more limited experience.
