After a service has been designed it needs to be moved from design into the live environment. This is achieved through the implementation of transitioning.
Service Transition covers the management of Change, Release and Deployment, Testing and Validation and Evaluation as major topic areas. It is concerned with ensuring that changes are implemented right first time, every time with the minimum impact on the organisation. |
Credits Successful candidates will be awarded 3 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification.
Who Should Attend The course is suitable for individuals who require a deeper understanding of the Service Transition stage of the Service Lifecycle or performs this role as part of their ITSM role. ST also offers a natural career development path for people who already hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate.
Pre-requisites Delegates are required to hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management or v2 to v3 bridge equivalent.
