PRINCE2 2009 is the latest best practice framework from the OGC. It keeps its core values but incorporates improvements based on feedback and acknowledges challenges which are facing today’s projects. The key improvements to PRINCE2 2009 are, it:
- Integrates with MSP®, M_O_R® & P3O® - Links to other methods and bodies of knowledge - Gives guidance on tailoring for smaller projects - Is less prescriptive and is more flexible - Highlights the importance of the “soft aspects” of PM - The manuals is smaller - Offers more guidance and less instruction - Is less theoretical and more practical |
